I am a Tanzanian employed by Tumaini University, Iringa University College in working as an Instructor with the Department of Journalism.
Today, I am participating in the Internet workshop for Journalism Trainers which has been scheduled to take place from September 24 to 27th 2008.
This workshop has been organized by Journalism Department of IUCo and the VIKES Foundation (Finnish Foundation for Media, Communication and Development)
In this workshop, participants are expected to gain useful knowledge on how to train young journalist students on such areas like, how Internet has been used in everyday journalism work, how journalistic research and assignment are done through the internet and more importantly how to go about starting blogs and the citizen journalism.
